Pierluigi is where Rome goes for seafood done with polish — a long-established restaurant on the pretty Piazza de' Ricci, with tables spilling onto the square, a see-and-be-seen crowd, and genuinely excellent fish. It's not cheap and it's not a secret, but the combination of beautiful setting and serious seafood makes it one of the great long-lunch destinations in the historic center. Sit outside on the piazza, order the grilled fish, and let the afternoon go.
