Clamato is the relaxed, walk-ins-only seafood counterpart to Septime, opened by the same team a few doors down on Rue de Charonne. Where Septime is a set-menu ritual, Clamato is à la carte, no-reservations, share-everything — ceviche, oysters, clams, whatever the day's catch suggests — with the same natural-wine sensibility and the same refusal of pretense. It's the easier door into the Septime universe, and on its own terms one of the most enjoyable seafood spots in the city.
What We Loved
Raw and lightly cooked seafood, à la carte and meant for sharing — oysters, ceviche, clams, seasonal small plates. Natural wine throughout.
Small, crowded, casual — the lively counterpart to Septime's calm. Part of the same 11th-arrondissement cluster.
