A design bar set on one of Rome's quietly perfect piazzas, directly facing the surviving columns of the Temple of Hadrian. You are, quite literally, drinking next to a 2nd-century Roman temple — and the bar has the good sense not to make a thing of it.
Inside it is part Scandinavian living room, part Roman salon, with a shelf of architecture and design books you are welcome to pull down. The aperitivo spread is genuinely good. The piazza outside is the reason to stay.
