In the bones of the old Gare de la Bastille — which is no longer a station but still has the architecture of one. The vaulted ceilings and platform bones give it a sense of occasion that most bars in the city can't fake.
Good in summer when the terrace opens onto what used to be the platforms. Worth knowing about in any season.
