The Hôtel de la Marine is one of the most beautiful interiors you can visit in Paris and somehow still under most visitors' radar. The 18th-century palace on Place de la Concorde — designed by Gabriel, the same architect as the square — was the royal furniture repository and later the navy headquarters, and it reopened in 2021 after a spectacular restoration that recreated the lavish period apartments.
The immersive audio guide (the 'Confidant') is genuinely excellent. For a glimpse of pre-Revolution aristocratic Paris, beautifully restored, it's hard to beat — and the loggia view over the Concorde is superb.
