First Impressions

Charvet is the world's first ready-to-wear shirtmaker and one of the great names in formal dressing — founded in 1838, dressing royalty, presidents, and the carefully tailored ever since, from a townhouse on Place Vendôme. It is famous for bespoke shirts and an almost overwhelming wall of fabrics and ties in every conceivable color. The service is old-world and exacting. For a bespoke shirt or a perfect tie, there is no more storied address in Paris.
