Loulou has a defined aesthetic — natural materials, colorful printed cushions, a general sense of having been designed by someone who had been to Ibiza and thought about what to keep and what to leave behind. The DJ is present but mixed at the right level.
The crowd is younger than Club 55 and more relaxed than Gigi. The kind of place where a day that starts at noon genuinely does not end until the sun does, because nothing about the atmosphere is pushing you toward anything.
The food is good without being serious. The cocktails are the point in the afternoon. Order the first one early and do not think too hard about the second.
Relaxed in a way that Pampelonne rarely manages. The DJ is there but it remains a beach, not a club.
The hours between 3pm and sunset are when Loulou is at its best. Plan around them.
More comfortable than it has any right to be. The design choice that makes a four-hour afternoon feel reasonable.
The website is shared with the restaurant group. To book a sunbed or table, call directly: +33 (0)4 94 79 80 04.
Better for a long afternoon than a full day. Arrive at noon and plan to stay through sunset.
The DJ gets louder as the afternoon progresses. This is fine if you anticipated it.
Book a sunbed in advance in July. Walk-in availability by midday is unpredictable.
